Transfer of Ownership

To transfer the ownership of an APDR registered dog to a new owner, simply upload the front of your Registration Certificate (where it lists the dogs name, registration number, birthdate, etc) and the signed and filled out back of the Registration Certificate. If the dog belongs to a Registered Kennel, then the signature must be the registered name of the kennel owner.

Then fill out the form below and submit.

For a dogs name to be changed the breeder signature must be present on the paperwork. All dogs will keep the breeders prefix (IE: John Smith bred the dog, the dogs remains Smith's "Dog" owned by New Owner) If you wish to use a kennel name as ownership, the kennel must be registered with the APDR, which can be done here.
