Our gratitude to Leri Hanson (an APDR Judge & Champion of dogs) for developing a wonderful program to help socialize and promote training of dogs in our community!

We know that all dogs are unique and that breed characteristics vary greatly but hope that with the help of this program we can promote handlers to "begin" basic training and possibly encourage them to continue to advanced training with future dogs.

Dogs have long been considered "man's best friend," and they have certainly earned the title. With the bond between us being unmistakable, people have been drawn to them (and they to us) since their domestication. Dogs have helped us in so many ways and expect little in return. They have hunted with us, kept vermin and pests away, served the military and police, assisted the disabled, and faithfully remained our loyal companions.

We believe it is our duty and privilege to share this legacy with you our fellow man.
